Doug started his career in the construction industry as an on-the-job trainee, finished the training to become a union journeyman carpenter and worked his way up to Carpenter Foreman while working on heavy highway and commercial building construction. Doug’s energy and entrepreneurial skills then took him into the fields of hotel management, computer sales and back to the construction industry, starting his own business in 1980 which continues to prosper to date with Doug’s unique style of management.
The original company started as a commercial roofing company, specializing in rubber-roof applications. However, Doug began to see that many of the projects were being mismanaged and the owners were all too often misrepresented. Early in 1994, the roofing division was sold and all focus was applied to Construction Management.
Doug’s hands-on approach, straight forward communication, and understanding the essence of a situation are all part of why Doug has the ability to get the job done right, in a timely and cost efficient manner. He leads his company by example. Doug meets with his associates on a regular basis to ensure they understand that our clients are our most important asset.
On the personal side, Doug served 6 years in the US Naval Reserves and received commondations before being honorably discharged. He has been an active participant in the local political arena holding elected offices on the Phoenix Village Board and most recently was elected and continues to serve as Chairman of the Town of Schroeppel Zoning Board. Doug also actively participates in his church by serving as part of the Welcome Center staff.
